Cool Box - insulating your chilled ingredients

Our goal and what we've changed

One of our main goals for the coming years is to improve upon how environmentally friendly our packaging is. With this in mind, we phased out the cool bags used in our recipe boxes in favour of cool boxes!

How will this help?

Our cool boxes provide much better protection to your chilled items inside and will avoid any ingredients becoming damaged in transit.

It also brings us one step closer to our goals of net zero by 2030, and of making sure that all of our packaging can be widely recycled at the curbside.

With this in mind, we've found a solution that provides a better customer experience and has less impact on the environment. The cool box is made completely of cardboard, providing a 100% widely recyclable option for everyone. Your box can go straight into home recycling bins (it just needs to be broken down) and helps us ensure our products end up in the right place.

Removing the denim insulation reduces the carbon footprint of your box by approx 20%. Speaking of which, the carbon emissions saved by not having the packaging returned by courier is a wonderful bonus!

We think this is a massively positive change and we hope you do too! If you have any feedback or questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
