Mindful Chef Survey FAQs

If you have recently been asked to fill out a survey for us, we appreciate you may have questions surrounding its content. Which is why we've put together answers to our frequently asked questions below.
 
Why we collect the data  
We are continually striving to better understand our customers so we can improve our services; whether it be in terms of the choice of recipes, fair pricing, new ranges (such as frozen and family), website layout, etc. Asking questions around demographics, income and household make-up allow us to better understand these areas and improve our service. All survey data is anonymised for reporting and will never be used for direct targeted marketing.
 
How We Store It
The data is collected using Typeform survey software and is end-to-end encrypted using secure TLS cryptographic protocols (TLS 1.2), and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is used with a 256-bit key. For analysis the data is anonymised and transferred to the company's internal servers which use a cloud system that has secure data centres and encrypts data at rest, and in transit to and from the drive. It uses 128-bit or 256-bit AES keys.
 
Who Has Access to it?
Access to raw data is limited to 5 people within the company; 4 senior members of the Marketing team and the Head Of Data. An anonymised dataset with no personally identifiable information (PID) is sent to an external analyst. All other distribution is via aggregated and anonymous reports (e.g. "30% of respondents are in this age group").
 
What Has Been The Outcome of Prior Surveys?
The outcomes have been numerous, but key outcomes are the introduction of new ranges, significant updates and redesigns to the website and updates to the recipe offerings.
 
How Will Be The Winner Be Contacted
The lucky winners will be chosen at random (using an anonymous ID). The winners will then be contacted by our customer care team.
