What do I do with the ice packs?

If it's your first delivery, we'd suggest keeping them - they might come in handy, keeping things cool for a summer picnic!

Our gel packs aren't suitable to go down the sink and should be popped into your general waste. Sorry for any disappointment.

They're made from a non-toxic polymer gel so, should you clog your sink with one by mistake, pouring boiling water on the gel will dissolve it. However, it may still contribute to clogs in the sewage systems so we don't recommend this as a regular means of disposal, unfortunately.

We’re working closely with our suppliers to explore new materials, technologies and processes – join our customer community group for the latest updates.

If you receive a frozen delivery you'll receive dry ice instead - find out more here.
