What do I do with the ice packs?

If it's your first delivery, we'd suggest keeping them! They might come in handy keeping things cool for a summer picnic!

We're delivering a mix of water-based ice packs and gel packs in our cool boxes.

The water-based packs can be washed safely down your sink. The outer casing is made from LDPE, which can then be disposed of or recycled at the bag collection points in large supermarkets.

The Hydropac gel packs should simply be put straight into general waste.

We’re working closely with our suppliers to explore new materials, technologies and processes – join our customer community group for the latest updates.

If you receive a frozen delivery you'll receive dry ice instead - find out more here.
